"To the bus I slammed my bike into today (11th and K)"

So we've all heard about the Metro bus accidents of late, on top of all of the Metro train accidents and suicidal deaths. Sad, to say the least. But what if you were a bike rider with no appreciation of your own life and you inadvertently slammed into the side of a Metrobus in NW? What would you do about it? How would you share your story with the world?

Well, you would post it on Craigslist of course! AND - it would go in the Missed Connections section. Because you obviously miss that bus, or the driver of said bus, dearly.

"I was flying downhill on 11th going south to make it through what we're going to call a very "pink" light. Unfortunately for me a metro bus happened to decide to turn left from 11th onto K at that moment, which considering I think the bus had sat in the intersection waiting for traffic to clear they had every right to do. I slammed on the less than impressive brakes of my 20+ year old road bike which has certainly seen better days. It only did me so much good and I slammed into the side of one of the WMATA's newer buses."
