PLEASE turn your Beyonce down...

Hello Mr. Annoying mid-30's guy listening to Beyonce on your ipod RIDICULOUSLY loud this morning on the metro... PLEASE turn it down...

I do not care at 8:30am to hear "Single Ladies" at high decibels. Can't you please be respectful of your fellow passengers and just listen at a normal volume? I mean we all know how ridiculously cool you are riding the metro with your sunglasses on with your loud music, but please spare the rest of the passengers.

Loud metro iPod listeners is not a new occurence, but I sure do get chapped everytime it happens. Especially at 8:30 in the morning when I did not get enough sleep last night and happen to have my suitcase with me. It is terribly annoying. I just simply do not understand how someone can seriously listen to their ipod that loud. It is very damaging to your hearing to listen to something that loud. It always seems to be horrible music these people are listening to. It is never something pleasant like Vivaldi or whatev...its always music that just makes you want to pull your hair out.

Now, while Beyonce is fab..we all know that.. And Single Ladies is a great tune to shake my booty to, but not at 8:30 in the morning. The moral of the story is PLEASE turn your music down. For the people that left our head phones at home, we really would like to listen to the music in our heads, not the music you force us to hear. PLEASE be respectful to your fellow metro riders.

Because of the mention of Single Ladies... I must post this for your viewing pleasure:

interesante... i hate people like that. like he is soooo cool he needs to wear sunglasses on a freaking bus and then do something like play obnoxious music to draw attention to himself so everyone will notice him and see how cool and important he is and he's probably hoping they will be like, "OMG, is that a celebrity?!?" Same thing with people who go to the airport wearing a shit ton of jewelry, knee boots, sunglasses, and hats in an attempt to look like a celebrity who needs to get validation by wearing an outfit designed to draw attention to them and indicate the fact that they "don't want" to be noticed... riiight. Well, we will see how cool he feels when he's deaf from abusing the volume on his iPod.

Metro Haiku:

Dear Metro Asshole;
Please step right on moving stairs,
let grownups pass by.

This is every single day on the Green Line during morning rush. You have no idea how many times I've been forced to listen to someone else's iPod, even at volumes above my own iPod. Siiigh.
